Speed on songs

Postby Codywrestler » Mon Sep 04, 2017 4:58 pm

Hi, fellow banjo players,
I have now finished some of the slow parts of songs with no errors. I was wondering what process anyone had for gaining more speed? I see Ben does not really show videos of tab at full speed of the beginner songs and I wanted to learn it at full speed. This may be a dumb question also but what are the rhythm tracks for? Thanks so much for your help!

In the Preview for the lesson, Ben plays the song at full speed.

You can download the .tef file and that will allow you to set the tempo of the tune so you can hear it played on a somewhat robotic sounding banjo at any speed you want.

The rhythm tracks have Ben playing backup accompaniment to the song. So you can play along and it is as if you are playing in a band.
