Maybe it is just me but I have never heard of Kib ? is that the same as kilobytes ? I made my avatar picture less than 240X240 and it still won't let it upload . any suggestions ?

I don't know what a Kib is either (and I am a computer programmer by trade). I am guessing it is a kilobyte (kb).

If it is not already a JPG, try converting it to a JPG. A BMP file takes more room for the same size image. One can also do things like increasing the compression and reducing the colors used.

If you don't have software to convert images let me know and I can do it for you.

I even tried GIF and it was to big it is less than the 240 X240 they want so I am guessing it is the color content .

If you want, feel free to PM me and attach the image and I'll see if I can get the size small enough. I can also PM you my email if you would prefer.
